Big deal to put me over the top WHIR

I once again think I've put myself in a position to win it all again this year and I'm looking to make a deal to put my team over the top.

OF is definitely my weakness IMO and I'd like to improve it somehow. With Morales going down and his owner looking for a replacement at 1B I'm going to see if the Holliday owner has gotten tired of his slumping star and will part ways with him.

I'm thinking of offering up:

My: Reynolds, Liriano, Gardner or Span, Capps, 1st rounder next year

His: Holliday, N.Cruz, R.Soriano, 3rd rounder next year

I really think that this deal could put me over the top if I can somehow pull it off. I'm just unsure about Cruz's health. And do you think Holliday will snap out of his funk? Is this trade a decent enough offer? Or should I just sit tight?

I do think Holliday will be fine. His avg is still good and he's got 14 doubles, so it's not as if he's suddenly become a slap singles hitter. The homers will come.

And I love Cruz.

This is a good deal for you, but if I'm him I make some sort of a counter-offer.

I agree, its a pretty good deal, but Im not really sure I would give up a first rounder

I would give up Reynolds, Liriano, and Gardner. I like Cruz and Holliday and the 3rd round pick is a nice bonus.

i like the deal. i'm not sure how the keepers factor in the draft, but getting a 3rd round while still landing cruz and holliday will be huge

Not sure if the trade went through...but I don't think he would do this. This all depends on who he thinks will be in the FA pool come draft time. If he does accept, I like this. IMO, Reynolds is overrated anyways.
