I think Price is just pitching way too well right now and is on such a good team to give him up... If he's the deciding factor to pick up Hanley i might do it but i would try to take off Price and make it a two for two trade.... check out my post in this forum and help me decide which SS to pick up...

I wouldn't do it with Price AND Lee. Hanley is fantastic but Jeter is very consistent and puts up top tier SS #'s every season. Mainly though I don't like that of the 4 pitchers in this deal you're giving up the 2 best. Haren always does poorly in the 2nd half - what if he has this kind of first half and then his typical 2nd half as well? Uh oh.

I don't think I would do it. I think that Price is the real deal and Lee is a proven top 10 guy. Haren is always worse the 2nd half of the year and this year he is already bad in May. I also expect Hudson to regress a little bit. Hanley is great, but Jeter is always very solid.

Thanks for the responses so far guys. Here is the other manager's team. Do you think I can ask him to include another one of his pitchers in the deal instead of Hudson? The main reason he wants to deal is to get rid of Haren so I think I would be stuck with him either way.

C: Kurt Suzuki
1b: Adrian Gonzales
2b: Martin Prado
3b: Ian Stewart
SS: Hanley Ramirez
IF: Carlos Pena
OF: Werth, Gardner, CarGo, Granderson
UTIL: David Ortiz
Bench: Placido Polanco

SP: Tommy Hanson, Dan Haren, Josh Johnson
RP: Marmol, Cordero
P: Aardasma, Dotel, Clayton Kershaw
Bench: Tim Hudson, Johnathan Sanchez, Jaime Garcia, Brett Anderson

Thanks for your help with mine...and I love the deal, you don't have anyone that you are giving up really for getting one of the best players in the league and Haren is still a solid starter will give you more help than Lee will, just has no run support and Tim Hudson can get you wins, won't be a high strikeout guy but good nonetheless...i would definitely do it

Completed the deal and ended up getting the other owner to include Hanson instead of Hudson so the final transaction was:

I give:
Derek Jeter
David Price
Cliff Lee

I get:
Hanley Ramirez
Dan Haren
Tommy Hanson

Didn't like it at all, too much pitching to give up. Now with hanson, I think this is going to be a good trade. However, I think that this is the type of trade that would be best in keeper leagues
