I am in a league with K, WHIP, ERA, and Saves for pitchers and I am ahead by 0.13 WHIP and 1 K. I have the option tomorrow of starting Wainwright @Chicago or sitting him, conceding the K category for the chance to hold onto WHIP and ERA (I have a sizable lead in ERA but WHIP is up in the air) My opponent has Jon Garland going tomorrow vs the Nationals. My other pitchers that I plan on benching is Burnett vs the Indians and Livan Hernandez vs the Padres. Should I bench all of my SP and concede the K category and try to hold onto WHIP and ERA, only starting my closers and RP (I am up by 2 saves)? Or should I bench all my pitchers (Closers are H. Bell, F. Cordero with T. Clippard as my RP)? Should I just start Wainright? What strategy would you use if you were in my position?
ERA: Winning, up by 3.00 ERA
WHIP: Winning, up by 0.13 WHIP
K: Winning, up by only 1 K
Saves: Winning, up by 2 Saves
Very tough choices for me tomorrow.
