Bad news for Willis fantasy owners.....

Detroit Free Press wrote:Willis was designated for assignment to make room for right-hander Max Scherzer, who returns from the minors Sunday and rejoins the rotation. With Willis’ departure, right-hander Amradno Galarraga stays with the club and assumes Willis’ rotation spot. I'm pretty bummed only because I was really cheering for the guy....he does a ton for charity and just seems like a really good person all around. He just hasn't gotten it done though. Hopefully he can find a job somewhere else and return to a relative amount of success. ;-D

Were there any? :-? I think I'm with you in that he's a seemingly good guy and a great athlete who is pretty fun to watch so it would be nice to see him rebound in some way.

Anyone trust in Max now? He reached 96 today in the 1st inning against Oakland..seems to have gotten some velocity back?

I was just about to ask about his velo. Saw the two K's in the first and wondered that myself. If anyone can keep us updated ;-D

Consistently hitting 95-96 right now in the 2nd inning..strikes out the side!

Might be the time to add him now if he was dropped in your league.
