Kendry Morales hit a walkoff grand slam in a 5-1 win over the Mariners in 10 innings on Saturday afternoon, but looks to have seriously injured his ankle in the celebration.
Just a shame. Morales took Brandon League deep with one out in the bottom of the tenth inning. He attempted to get some air as he approached the joyous pile of teammates waiting for him at home plate and looks to have seriously hurt his ankle. He had to be carted of the field. Stay tuned for an update on his status, but it's safe to say the Angels and fantasy owners could be without him for a while.
I don't know how many times I've seen these walk-offs and thought when is someone going to tear an ACL or something jumping up and down like that. And now it's happened to a pretty darn good player. Shame.

That was one of the funniest endings to a baseball game I've ever seen. It started with another Brandon League blow up and ended with Morales on the ground in pain as a result of a celebration jump.

Mark Trumbo is the starter in AAA. Has good stats, but isn't considered as a top prospect. I don't think he's ready either. I'm guessing B. Wood.
Maybe they trade for Berkman.
