Let's hope it's not too bad.

Just a shame. Morales took Brandon League deep with one out in the bottom of the tenth inning. He attempted to get some air as he approached the joyous pile of teammates waiting for him at home plate and looks to have seriously hurt his ankle. He had to be carted of the field. Stay tuned for an update on his status, but it's safe to say the Angels and fantasy owners could be without him for a while.

Being a soccer player I've always thought how stupid it is for baseball players to jump into a huge pile of feet while having to land on home plate. Well, dumb actions lead to unnecessary injuries...anyway I am done venting on the level of stupidity by K. Morales today. Broken ankles usually require AT THE VERY LEAST 6 weeks of recovery time for WALKING...Given that we're talking about a baseball player (aka an athlete who needs his ankle for more than walking) we're looking at a much longer time table. Oh well, you pay the price for your mistakes (just traded for his broke a$s recently)

Does anyone know who will be playing firstbase for the Angels? I am a Morales ownerin a AL-only league and needless to say, royally screwed.

Might be done for the year:

Per Rotoworld - Per Orange Country Register

"Kendry Morales is scheduled to undergo surgery Sunday in Los Angeles to repair his broken left leg.
Morales suffered the fracture on Saturday afternoon while celebrating his own walkoff grand slam at home plate. It's a horrible blow to the Angels, who have relied on Morales' power for a few years. According to the Orange County Register, he could miss the remainder of the 2010 season. May. 29 - 10:15 pm et

Still can't get over this! How stupid...
