This hinges on 2 questions: how do you take the Ells/Batista pairing. If you're inclined to believe that Ells is safe speed and he should be back soon and Batista's a fluke, then this deal does look good for you. If you think Panda's coming back strong, you take the deal.

For me, I think I do take it. Fuk is fungible now that it's May, and you need the closer. And you're gambling on preseason value not too late into the year.
