Carlos Zambrano Dropped ... Should I add him? WHIR

Stats-Innings pitched, Wins, Complete games, Shutouts, saves, K's, ERA, WHIP, K/9, Quality starts, Holds

I know he was getting Rocked early on, but if you look closely it was just that game on opening day. His next 3 starts he only gave up 3 earned runs in each ... and as a free agent pickup, I don't think there's any harm in adding him. What do you guys think? I'd be dropping joe blanton too.

I was able to pick him up in my league a week or so ago.

I don't think there is much harm in switching him for Blanton. At least Zambrano's upside is much greater than Blanton's. I am counting that the little demotion to the bullpen has re-energized Zambrano. It's worth a shot.

I'd thinking both will be dropped in the end, but at least you still have upside in Zambrano. Blanton's ERA is over 5, and I got ridiculed for trying to trade him in my keeper before I just pulled the plug and dropped him.
