I don't like this deal. You are giving up a lot and there is a chance that Starsbug will be up soon and could match what Ubaldo has done. Heyward is an upgrade but not at the cost of another SP and a RP.

It's not horrible but your going to be hurting at RP. With the players listed i'm figuring your just throwing that category? Selling Strasburg is a smart idea in a non keeper league. Your getting the best pitcher in baseball this season. Now is a good time to sell high on Garcia also. I would go for this deal if I was in your shoes.

I like the trade, but I don't think its what you need. With Lincecum, Verlander, Carpenter, Marcum, Johnson, adding Ubaldo is not necessary at all. I would rather look to adding another big bat or stud reliever before adding another SP.

The Strasburg train is building huge momentum with his call up nearing, if you wanted to move him I think you can bring back a nice haul with a package.
