analyze Peavy/McGehee for Liriano/Maggs

Hey All,

I'm struggling with a recent trade offer received, and was wondering if you would be willing to share your thoughts.

I was offered Magglio Ordonez and Francisco Liriano for my Casey McGehee and Jake Peavy.

While I do think I could use the OF help that Ordonez offers, I am hesitant to let McGehee get away. I sort of see Liriano and peavy as almost a wash.

Am I way off base in my assessment? I'm curious if you would take this offer or not. I'll do my best to offer an opinion on yours if I can. Thanks!

You have Pedrioa and A Rod, so Mcgeehee would basicaly be used off the bench or Utl. Maggs Might be overachieving this year, but he still gets the start over Fukudome. liriano has more upside than Peavy, so I say pull the trigger.
