Trade away Lester to acquire Justin Upton??? WHIR!!! HELP!!!

So, I'm in 11th place out of 12 in a single season H2H (WHACKED OUT SETTINGS BELOW ABOVE MY ROSTER) and I seem to win very few hitting categories each week. Now that's likely due to Aaron Hill, Carlos Lee and Yuniel Escobar all hitting under 200 as well as Pablo Sandoval grossly underperforming. Now mix that in with some bad luck and currently I'm 11 games out of the playoffs.

My leaguemate VERBALLY offered me Upton for Lester but I'm debating. Is this really worth it for me?

Please look at my team and help me decide if adding Upton while deleting Lester makes me a better squad.WILL HELP IN RESPONSE

Regardless -- on value alone I think I'd do this deal, then try to make another move to try to shore up your pitching....

Upton is more valuable without considering rosters. Considering rosters, however, I'm not sure this deal is so clear cut, especially in a redraft league. Trading Lester leaves your SP thin with nothing on the WW. In the final analysis, I think you should do the deal, but you should also be in the trade market for another SP. Keep a close eye on the wire for hot starters, as well.

Not much on the wire eh? Cueto, Gio, and others are much more than you would find on our wire. Take the deal and replace Lester with Cueto no brainer. Good luck

Yes do this NOW. Then dump Carmona for Cueto. That makes your team much better. Solid improvement.

Cueto was just added on waivers and the other owner is debating whether to ACTUALLY send the offer.

As for dumping Carmona, keep in mind he's thrown 7 quality starts in 9 games. I don't think I'd dump him....

Do it for the value alone and look for pitching elsewhere. Maybe trade 2 of your pitchers for a stud pitcher and grab Cueto with the open spot.
