Silva for Gardener?

I have an offer on the table to give up Carlos Silva for Brett Gardener...

I'm loaded with pitching (H2H league), and Gardener would be a 4th OF / DH / Gamble for late in the season for me, but, wondered about his upside (and esp. wondered what will happen once all of Yankee nation is healthy)...?

Silva has to be pitching out of his arse, and will come to earth soon, right? I'm thinking, while Gardener isn't super sexy for H2H, the potential of Silva turning into dung should make me pull the trigger....
