I have an offer to ship Jered Weaver and Brandon Webb for Jimmy Rollins. I sit in 2nd place and would benefit from an upgrade at SS from Aviles/Furcal.
My SPs are:
Ricky Romero
Jered Weaver
Phil Hughes
AJ Burnett
Colby Lewis
Mike Leake
Doug Fister
On the DL are:
Erik Bedard and Brandon Webb
I am giving up a great arm in Weaver, I can care less about Webb since I'll be hard pressed to keep him next season. This seems like a solid chance to fill in my offensive gap and get value out of Webb.
Would you do this trade? I admit that Rollins injuries are worrying me.
Thanks. WHIR

Thanks for the fast response. This has been offered to me so I glean that you feel I should take it.
This is a very deep 15 team roto keeper league. This is year six of the league and for the first time I am a contender so I am trying to be aggressive in patching holes while not breaking up a formula that is working thusfar.
Thanks again.

If this is being offered to you, you have to jump all over this deal....It's absolutely highway robbery for you. Heck y ou might even get some veto whispers.
I don't see how Webb has any value even in a keeper. The last report I read was that he was told he was going to have to relearn to pitch since they want him to change his arm angle. That doesn't sound good.
Essentially it's Weaver for Rollins. I do that all day long.
