I'm trying to trade for either Phil Hughes or Felix Hernandez but before I could propose a trade, I want to know the value of these players.
Here is my team. Yahoo Standard League H2H 16 Team

P: Cliff Lee (Sea - SP) P: Rafael Soriano (TB - RP) P: Francisco Cordero (Cin - RP) P: Barry Zito (SF - SP) P: Alfredo Simon (Bal - SP,RP) P: Tim Lincecum (SF - SP) P: Wade LeBlanc (SD - SP) P: C.J. Wilson (Tex - SP,RP) P: Ted Lilly (ChC - SP) P: Anibal Sánchez (Fla - SP)
I have too many OFers right now but I can not drop any single one of them. I want to add depth in my pitching. The guy who has these pitchers is in need of avg, hr, and runs. I am in need of Wins, and K's. Which means that Hughes would be perfect for my team.
I was thinking that Shane Victorino is finally hitting the ball well, but do you think he would be in the ranks to be packaged in a deal for Hernandez or Hughes? If not then I was thinking of parting with Adrian Gonzalez for Felix or Hughes straight up. Don't know if I could afford to lose his power though.
I was thinking of trading Victorino, CJ Wilson for Hughes which will be shot down. Do you guys think I could package a good deal to get either of these guys?

I think you need the power, too .. so don't trade agonz. You can probably have an easier time getting him to trade Hughes. Victorino does have more value, since Rollins is on the DL again, Shane will be batting lead off. Maybe you could pair him with Zito or LeBlanc if he doesn't like Wilson.
I think I'm giving too much, but I rather have Phil Hughes more than Wilson. Hughes would get me much more wins than Hernandez would get me due to the Mariners having a struggling offense. I'm glad to get rid of Shane Victorino because he's very streaky.

C.J. Wilson is no big deal. It's basically S.Victorino for P.Hughes. I would not have made this deal. Your pitching was already very good. You need more bats. You dealt a bat for a position that is very strong on your team.
You should trade 1 of your pitchers for a stud bat.
P.Hughes should be good, but I have some worries after his past 2 starts. Still like him. Pitches for a great team...but jury is still out.
While Phil Hughes is a risky proposition given his lack of a track record, he will get wins pitching for the Yankees and Victorino is painful in H2H with his streakyness so overall I don't think you did too badly out of this. You might've gotten a bit more for Victorino but it's all done now so I think you can feel ok about this one. Thanks for the help on mine.

Thanks for helping with mine. I think that's a pretty fair trade. I like Hughes, especially with that offense scoring runs for him. However I do agree that your bats might be getting a little thin now. Maybe you need to bolster your lineup with another bat... Maybe see what you could get for Zito. He's having a good year, but can he keep it up? I'm not so sure...
Thanks for your input you guys. I understand that my offense is a little thin right now, but I'm going to try to sell high with Zito. If anything, I could trade Cliff Lee next month just in case for a power bat.
