Chone Figgins keep or cut?

So we are reaching the end of May and here are Figgin's numbers for 2010
Runs - 18 Hits - 31 HR - 0 RBI - 13 SB - 9 AVG - .195 OBP - .305 OPS - .557

So what exactly is wrong with this guy? Is he going to turn it around? or should i cut this piece of cancer off my team

I've been pondering the same question. He's just...hard to drop. So he's on my bench until further notice. I'm giving him three more weeks to show me a little something or he'll go the way of Beckham and splash into the FA pool.

It would be particularly impressive if he got those with his 18 hits.

A few years ago he had the same struggles. It took him maybe 3 months before turning things around and batting .400. So just hang on to him.

Ya there is no way you can cut him, he'll turn it around and the steals are still there. I did trade him away, but i felt i got a good deal in return for him, though i'm sure i'll regret it come july-august. If you look at his splits he always turns it on in june. A career .246 average in May and a career .326 in June, so be patient.

yup - I've owned him now 3x and that was one of the seasons. another year he also had a useless streak before exploding. cannot cut or trade cheap now.

looked it up: in 2007 he hit ~.200 in April/May, then ~.360 rest of way. Last year ~.240 in April, over .310 rest of way.
