Do this? Halladay goes back into the draft. Price can be kept thru 2012. I lose a lot of CGs and innings, but I may actually get the same wins and a good era still. gain saves... OR is there a better package for, say, Lester and Price?

No. If you are playing for next year, do it, but then move Pujols as well. If you are playing for this year, pass. The pitching dropoff is too great to get a closer.

Help with mine:

To be honest, you don't look like a guy who needs to play for next year. I'd say no. You're in line for a decent shot at a league championship.

Maybe I'm crazy but I might do this deal as is. I don't think this trade precludes you from winning this year. Nor do I think you'd be just "playing for next year." Price with 7 wins, sub 2.5 ERA and on the best team in baseball. He's proven his talent on the biggest stage. Plus you'd get to keep him next year while Halladay goes back to the draft? I think you'd be wise to accept, but I'm just crazy like that, vato.
