I'd be giving up Lind and getting Upton. What do you think of that deal? It's a H2H league with typical scoring categories plus doubles and triples and OPS. I need the speed and can afford to lose the power I think.
My team:
Mauer
Fielder
Uggla
Jeter
Youkilis
Cruz
Hamilton
Lind
Ortiz-Util
Vlad-Util
Bench:
Aramis
R. Davis
Adam Laroche
Grady Sizemore DL
He has tons of speed Wright, Andrus, Bourn, Ichiro, Furcal, Upton.

Well BJ will provide help in SB but is nearly above the mendoza line so far. I believe Lind has more upside than Upton because BJ isn't living towards expectations so far. At least Lind had a great year last year and has the room to regress a bit. I don't think BJ is worth it imo. I think you can find sb elsewhere in Juan Pierre or Rajai Davis. Who at least is playing decently well compared to BJ.
Any people in the Waiver Wire?

I'd stay put with Lind. As much as I believe Upton will be better then what he has shown so far, he usually has big slumps in the middle months which are coming up. If you want the SBs, then go for it, but that's about all you are going to get from Upton. There are a lot cheaper options out there for SBs, so I'd go that route so it won't cost you as much - i.e. - Podsednik, Pierre, Gardner to name a few.

Well, you really can't expect much in terms of batting average and power. It still seems like Upton *should* be hitting a little better than this and with increased power. If that's the case, his run/rbi totals project to be pretty solid in that Tampa Bay lineup. Even so, it still looks likely that you'll lose out on runs, homers, rbis, average, OPS, and doubles. All for more speed? The only way you could logically make this trade is if you truly believe that Upton will have an abnormally good year (Don't want to use the word 'breakout').
Idk, I'd stay put - keep lookin' ?

i wouldn't either, even though you need the speed. I like Lind a lot better than Upton. See if you can deal ARam or ALaroche for Ellsbury or Gardner, respectively.
thanks for the help
