Deal A or Deal B? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Mon May 24, 2010 3:07 pm

Take one of these? No real keeper implications, as the two SP both go back into the draft... I generally think Callaspo could outperform Bartlett, but then again, a backup SS could be useful.

Deal A.) I give Roy Halladay and Jason Bartlett (or Callaspo) -- I get Tim Lincecum and Chris B. Young

or

Deal B.) I give Bartlett (or Callaspo) -- I get choice of Austin Jackson, Colby Rasmus, or Raul Ibanez

Definitely Deal A. You are getting a really good OF in Chris Young who has been playing very well compared to last year and Lincecum, I would rank higher than Halladay. Halladay may get more wins, but you have Sabathia for that.

Should I worry about losing all the CGs Halladay would get me?

Hmm. I didn't see the categories. My bad. Looking at the stats, both are playing very well. Though you would be trading CG for K's. It's your call. Halladay's IP is what is keeping his ERA so low compared to Lincecum and despite Lincecum's last game, he was pitching very well compared to Halladay.
