Gonzalez and Cruz seem to be pretty similar hitters and getting valverde would give me 3 solid sources of saves so I'm close to accepting this one. What are your thoughts?

It seems ok to me. You still have Cabrera to shore up 1b, so no problem there. Only thing is that Cruz is susceptible to injuries, so be careful there. Remember, you still have to drop a guy when accepting a 2-for-1.
