I cant live with Soto anymore and I need an every day catcher. Soto sits all the time.
Here is the list of available catchers on the wire. Who do you think I should pickup?
Suzuki Doumit Napoli Pudge Barajas Pierzynski Cervelli Ruiz Snyder Kendall Jaso Jake Fox Clement Hundley
I was just listing them the way they are owned percentage wise in Yahoo! leagues. So your recommendation is Suzuki? What do you see his line looking like for the remainder of the season in relation to Soto?

Suzuki, Doumit, and Napoli are clearly the top three. Suzuki plays a lot for a catcher so if you just want a safe option who's going to contribute modestly across the board consistently, he's tough to beat. Napoli can be huge in limited time but he's also somewhat of a risk given Scioscia's know preference for Mathis' superior defense. Whether or not Napoli can stay hot enough to keep Mathis on the bench when he comes back is debatable. Doumit falls somewhere in between those two extremes.
I think that a Napoli/Soto platoon has the most potential. That would be my choice.

Jake, I like the response man. Sounds like you know whats up. OK so if I did a platoon split with Napoli and Soto who else would I drop out of my hitters? Remember this is a huge league with 8 keepers and I havent even described my staff. Also, draft day I drafted Yadier, but let him go for SP depth because I didnt want to roster too many bench hitters. Wish I kept him now though. I only have 10 moves left for the rest of the season too.
i honestly think that napoli is streaky. one week he could be slumping barely over the mendoza line. other weeks he can bomb 3 hr and hit a very sweet average.
suzuki is much more consistent imo. numbers may not reflect this, but he was on the dl earlier this season.
