Another gem against one of the best lineups in baseball against the Rays.

7IP 3H 0ER 1BB 8K

Absolutely dominate all night. Had everything working. Sharp curve, nasty slider and he hit 97mph with the heater in the 7th. He k'ed his last 5 batters before he was removed on the pitch count.

All season he's shown excellent stuff and imecable command. He's learning how to keep hitters guessing as well

hes only behind Ubaldo, Johnson, and Strasburg in the NL imo right now right on par with Wainwright, Carp and Halladay

You think Strasburg is ahead of Latos, Wainwright, Carp, and Halladay after having had 3 career starts?

So is it definite that this kid has an innings limit on him this year? Want to know if I should look to shop him soon if he wont be around to help me come playoff time.

:-C I traded him 3 weeks ago thinking he'd be limited. Hopefully Bud puts his head on straight and limits him even if he is pitching lights-out.

As long as the Padres top the West, Latos needs to be pitching as much as possible
