Something to point out is that rotation spot means diddly squat after a week or so into the season. #1 pitchers do not just pitch against other #1's and #4's do not only pitch against other #4's. It's irrelevant as to what number starter they are as long as they have a spot. Obviously a #5 starter could be skipped occasionally.
