You're new so I'll take it easy on you:

1. Spend two seconds to search the forums for "Haren": viewtopic.php?t=411535&hilit=haren#p3267942
2. A post like this doesn't belong in this forum. A title of "Dan Haren?" in the Injuries/Updates section make people initially think that something happened to Haren on his off day.

Wow. Great attitude.

To reward your ignorance, I'll go ahead and say that yes, Dan Haren will be fine. His peripherals indicate that more than anything he's been extremely unlucky. Here are some numbers for you:

- He's currently striking out 9.35 batters per nine innings, his highest career average.
- He's only walking 2.26 batters per nine.
- He's got a .357 BABIP, which is way high.
- His left on base rate is something like 67%, which is below his career average of 72%.
- Finally, his xFIP is 3.21, which is 6th or 7th among starting pitchers right now.

Translation: he's actually pitching really well, just getting hit by some bad luck. There's no reason to think he won't be fine.

Is it unlucky when you give up back-to-back-to-back homeruns? Is it unlucky when you have 16 HRA (ML leading)?

You can throw all the stats out there that suggest he's getting unlucky, but the guy is getting absolutely rocked seemingly every time out this season, and cutting/selling low is definitely going to start be an option to consider with him for owners. I had him last year and wanted him this year but he as picked before I could, thank goodness ;-D
