I was throwing this idea around tonight. I would trade MY Pujos,Reyes, Cliff Lee , JD Drew and my 8th rd pick in next years draft. For his Lorgoria, Hanley, Wade Davis , Nyjer Morgan and his 3rd round pick. These are the years left the players can be kept after this year. Pujlos 2 Reyes 2 Lee 1 Drew 3 Not a keeper
Longoria 1 Hanley 3 Davis 3 Not a keeper Morgan 2 Not a keeper This is a 12 team mixed 6 player keeper 5x5 My other keepers as of now would be Utley, Halladay, Holliday , Miggy , Wright . I'm trying to also trade Wright for Upton . a couple of other players involved that don't affect this. If that goes through I would have 7 keepers. i would probably try to upgrade in picks and trade Holliday. Am I having a goo dream or a night mare ?
I actually like the deal for you. It gives you some youth along with the best SS out there and a top 3 3B, yes you give Albert but you are gaining more than losing IMO. Also, I might consider keeping a guy like Davis over Holliday, but I hate Holliday so that could just be me trying to get back a little for taking him so high in the draft in 09 then dealing him for small pieces and then actually remembering how to play after going to the NL from the AL.
I emailed him with this idea last night. I got an not back saying it looked interesting. But today he said he thought about it and didn't want to lose Longoria. I wrote back saying he could only keep him one more year.He also said he was thinking of restructuring his team some. I like Hanley for three more years but I also like Albert for two more years. I'm still not sure I would do this trade.
I received a counter offer . His Hanley and cantu for my Pujols and Theriot. I rejected that and countered with those four but I want him to include Price for Braden and his 3rd round pick for my 8th rd pick in next years draft. Cantu and Theriot are bothe throw back. I also wouldn't keep price over Halladay but thats for this years race and to help get a better draft pick for next year. The picks is also huge for me because we dropped from 9 keepers to 6 keeprs for next years draft. 36 more players going back to the draft. If I traded Albert my keepers so far would be Hanley, Miggy, Utley, Reyes, JUpton , Halladay , Holliday, Liriano , Cliff Lee and Josh Johnson. I would have to take six of those ten.Keep in mind. Pujols can be kept two more years after this year. Hanley can be kept three more years after this year. Thoughts?
I like the deal in your favor too. You are getting the top 3B in the fantasy game and the number 2 fantasy player for another 3 years which should bring you plenty of luck filling two of the top positions with the top two options. Good luck.

I never said to keep Price over Roy Hallady, I said I would keep him over Matt Holliday. I would also keep him over Cliff Lee.
Both of you last two poster missed something. First one . I said he rejected the trade . he didn't want to part with Longoria. Second poster . Nothing was ever said about you saying to keep Price over Halladay or Holliday. I said that. I m looking for help on my latest post. Its changed since the first post. Longoria is no longer a part of the trade.
Yes . I told him I would take Price or Hughes for my Braden in this deal. It would be from him Hughes or Price -Cantu- Hanley - his 3rd pick from me Braden - Albert - Theriot and my 8th round pick But I doubt he will do this either. He had countered my first offer with the players listed above but with out the pitchers and picks.
