will he just be terrible all season. I was thinking he had begun to right his ship, i was obviously wrong. Would you cut him? sick of potential in my lineup.
I had posted before and debated on adding Ely, and I plan on keeping C Richard at least against Seattle on Saturday.
10x10 Roto league P: J Johnson, Pettitte, Braden, Lilly, Peavy, C Richard RP: Papelbon, B Wilson, Zumaya, HC Kuo
To be honest in a 10x10 roto league, I have no idea what his worth is to your team, since who knows what your cats are.
There was a good article on yahoo this morning about Peavy's splits against AL central teams and everyone else. Essentailly, right now if you keep Peavy, you should start him based on the matchups.
Well out of 13 teams my points for each pitching stat is Wins - 9 Loss - 3 Saves - 7 K - 9 Holds - 5.5 Era - 2 Whip - 5 So as you can see era, losses, whip, and holds are on the skids. So Peavy's era is a killer and if you were playing matchups you might have benched him against KC and missed his best game.
Im not sure why I would bench him against KC. I like to start all my pitchers. I was trying to make an example, guess it wasnt a good one. Ill probably hold on to Richard for a while, since he's his one of the better ones on my staff at this point.

No you would pitch him against KC. His next two starts are against Cleveland and Tampa. I think the "matchup" strategy would to be start him against Cleveland sit him against Tampa.
