10 team non keeper. 6x 6 league with standard 5 categories plus OPS, which makes Pujols even more valuable. Pujols doens't seem quite right wiht me, 1 HR over the last 30 days, but the average is still there. I'm always afraid to give up a guy that can do what Pujols can do, but that's a lot in return. Thoughts?

I have to agree with Levy. It is a tough call though. If Lee hadn't been hitting the ball well lately, I may have a different opinion, but it seems that he may be turning the corner. Therefore, I would have faith that the power comes around for Pujols...it has for the last decade and stats don't lie.
You're getting two 1st rounders... and won't have to worry about Carlos Lee anymore. Yes he's showing signs of life, but I'm not convinced he is back in top form. Also, Teixeira is a monster 2nd half player. His career 2nd half OPS is around 1.000, which is really not too far off from Pujols' 2nd half OPS career average.
ALso, your team would really benefit from the SB production of Kemp. You are lacking in that department.

Even though I wouldn't necessarily take the deal, I do agree with Jonny that Tex is typically a monster after the first few months of the season (and starting to show signs of it). Maybe he convinced me
I'd do this trade no doubt. Tex is already done with his April- Early May Swoon. I wouldnt be surprised if Tex is able to come close or match Pujols' production the rest of the way.
To me the Carlos Lee for Kemp part is a ridiculous win for you. Why have to deal with the hope that Carlos Lee is going to come out of it. He put up another 0 for 4 last night and is back under .200. That team is straight up awful.
I'd also take this trade (too bad it isn't a keeper because it would be a landslide then IMO). As others have said before me, the other owner absorbed Tex's early season slump so you just get to cash in on the greatness remaining in his season. Also, if you look at it as Pujols vs Kemp and Lee vs Tex you might get a better idea. I think Kemp is fairly close to Pujols (top player vs no. 5 or 6) and Tex is THAT much better than Lee. It's tough to lose Pujols, but I think you can confidently jump on this and not look back.
i'd 100% take this trade. The drop off from pujols to teixera is way less than that of kemp to lee. you get 2 absolute stars back for essentially pujols...lee is on a crap team doing nothing and not playing like himself either.
