if you show your roster and league settings it would really help rank which players would have the most value to your specific team, especially with contracts and prospects involved...whats the salary cap?...how much room do you have under the cap?...if your team is loaded with power and no speed then victorino looks good...if you have bourn and gardner then nevermind...if you had asdrubal cabrera at SS then drew looks a little better, not so much if you have tulo...but i cant tell how bad his 15 mil contract is without knowing how you stand with the salary cap...drews contract is up this year, so do we just assume you are drafting soon and he would be immediately on your team for the rest of this year?...aviles at 2 mil is probably better than drews deal anyway...unless you have plenty of room under the cap and can afford 13 mil for a bit more production...maybe valverde if you need a closer, but only if thats a need...i think medlen is underrated, so if his contract reflects that id like him, especially if he stays in atlantas rotation...same goes for kennedy...i like medlen more than kennedy unless $ is really a factor...do you have a separate roster for prospects?...depending on rules for prospects i like lyles, white, and mitchell...castro is not going to be a fantasy-worthy catcher imo, but a good solid smart catcher, maybe hit .280 and 12 hrs in an avg year...basically every single thought depends on your roster and league settings, more info will make it easier for people to answer your question

ps...how the hell did chris carter end up with that contract?...all of a sudden drews contract looks ok

Number of Players 40

Just took over the team this year, obviously I need some work but I've upgraded the team a lot IMO. I could use help everywhere and we are getting another $10MM to use for this draft, so I have ~$13MM, plus as you can see there are a couple other players I could drop (have to eat half their salary)...Thanks for the initial help, I think I'm down to...

Arrieta (I've seen a lot of mixed reactions on him)
Valverde (might take him to trade him as this is a 30 team dynasty and a lot of the top teams in the standings are lacking a closer)
Victorino (probably will take him if he is there, 3 picks away)
Kennedy (looked good so far)
Medlen (looked good, but what is his role)
Conger (I need offense and a very favorable contract)
Aviles (cheap offense, but not crazy about his power/speed potential)
Carter ( I really like him and I know his contract is really bad but I need offensive help for next year)
