Been offered Gordon Beckham and Starlin Castro for Robbie Cano in a 16 team H2H Dynasty league. My offense is solid, but I'm gonna be in need of SS fairly soon considering I'm starting Scutaro, who's into his mid- 30's. I have Callaspo to plug in to the 2nd base slot while Beckham is slumping. Is the upside of Beckham/Castro long term enough to part with Robbie? I could have my SS of the future in Castro. But, I do have my questions about his fantasy upside...He's obviously still a bit raw at 20 and has years to develop. And, while we saw the major upside in Beckham last year, a trip back down to the farm may be in the works to get the head on straight. I think it's the classic case where it's potential vs guarantee? Cano's proven and in his prime... but the Beckham/Castro upside down the line has me considering it. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks guys

I would keep Cano here. As you said he is great and in his prime getting better each year and really raking this year and I think he will keep it up. Beckham is having a horrible sophomore slump and I am not as high on Castro as others. Are you in contention this year so far? If so I definitely would keep Cano. If you are out of it already I would consider it as it is an ok offer but I just think Cano is too good to give up for potential.

Thanks Kid. I'm sitting in 3rd right now with a legit chance to compete. So I was definitely leaning towards keeping Cano.
