Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I'm in a deep 6X6 keeper roto league. 15 teams, 23 starters (9 of which are pitchers) and 17 reserve spots. We are only allowed 8 free agent moves and 12 roster moves for the season and every move can include 2 players swapped for 2 players. One of my keepers this past year was Rajai Davis, mainly for his steals. His end of the season performance last season was projected to continue this season and I saw him consistently projected as a .300 hitter with 110 runs and 40 sb. He has struggled mightily this season, has been moved to the bottom of the lineup, and today got pinch hit for in the 9th by a .220 hitter. However, I'm not sure how I would make up the steals if I get rid of him (even though he's produced no steals in like 2 weeks) Should I sell him now and give up on him? I'm currently in first and I need his steals to win but I also think his lack of production is killing me too. Just not sure what to do, and I feel like if I'm going to get anything out of him I would have to do it now while his steals numbers at least look somewhat marketable.

Thanks for your help with mine. You know the old saying is that you can't steal first base. I would try and package davis in some type of trade. Yes he has been a huge disappointment which is a surprise. I try and get the best player rather than focus on one or two specific categories. Congrats on being in first place.

I would definitely try and deal him but you are going to have to do some type of package deal because he is not going to get you much in return by himself. But, I would definitely trade him now before he gets sent to the minors for awhile.
please help

I am hanging on to him and hoping he turns it around. Speed never slumps, which isn't the problem with Davis as you know. But he will turn it around, lower your expectations to something like a 270 avg, but he will steal 40 bases this season.
