Ok, I'm on the clock and its down to;
Ok, I'm down to Victorino (didn't think he would be there), Carter (i know he is expensive, but he is the top prospect on the list) or one of the pitchers (Arrietta, Kennedy or Medlen)...
Help me out!

I think a list like this needs to be done in tiers. I mean, there's nothing objective one can point to in a list of 30 guys of different ages, in different leagues, playing against different competition, none of whom are expected to be at potential within the next couple of years.
This is the reason people say they are 'laughing' - bc they have nothing objective to disagree with. So they throw a dumb comment on it without discussion.
I agree that tiers are preferred. I didn't/don't have the time so i just try to rank them. Its so hard because I can easily move a guy up or down a few spots. Also I think my list is biased towards those in the majors as more data is available on them, and I have also seen them play, where I have only watch some vids on a few of the prospects.
Perhaps you could throw together some tiered ranks?

That's a pretty good list. Tiering's tough; I like that list pretty good though (some squabbles, but that's why we all have our own opinions....)

Much more realistic list. Castro and Davis would have a hard time cracking the top 50 let alone top 10.
