How is Heyward still considered a prospect? Same with Smoak, Davis and Castro.

Technically 130 AB is the limit, not sure who's passed it yet...

Sadly I agree, this is a horrid list. I OWN Scheppers and would gladly trade him for half the guys you have listed behind him. The list is ok for the first 5 or so spots and after that its pretty bad.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Gotta love people who bag and then offer nothing besides criticism. X-I

And just because you would trade Scheppers doesn't mean that I agree with you. He can be an ace. He has injury issues, but he has pitched well thus far, and showed great stuff.

Prospect lists are always interesting. People have such varied opinions on them, and come from different bias. I made an attempt and got shot down. Just trying to throw out an opinion to help the community. Is it the best list available? No, but then again I am not a scout. I do the best I can with what I can find on the internet, and then tweak it based off gut feeling.

I included guys like Smoak and Heyward ect. as they are still under the 130 ab and thus can be deemed rookies. It is something that throws the list off a bit (as seen by the over ranking of guys in the bigs) but it is done by all the rankings sites. AEscobar was on every prospect list coming into this season, despite having service time as he was still considered a rookie.

The list needs to be tweaked, but I thought for sure I would get better responses than being laughed at.

I bet your list from 3 years ago looks horrid as well.

I think a list like this needs to be done in tiers. I mean, there's nothing objective one can point to in a list of 30 guys of different ages, in different leagues, playing against different competition, none of whom are expected to be at potential within the next couple of years.

This is the reason people say they are 'laughing' - bc they have nothing objective to disagree with. So they throw a dumb comment on it without discussion.

What can I say, not all of us can find an owner to dump an aging Papi on for 2 all stars in their mid 20s...
