Something tells me to not to the trade, but I'm not on either side of the fence officially....thoughts? WHIR
If you are looking to shake things up a little, I would lean towards yes. You get one of the best players in the game and your staff would still be solid without Haren.
90% of my posts are from complaining about my team
I know most people usually say go for Pujols, but Morneau is hitting the ball well right now and more importantly I am sure about how your staff would look after the deal. I mean you have some decent SPs, but I think you need Haren to anchor your staff more than you need Pujols. Thats said if you are looking to shake things up and its a keeper then I would consider the deal.
It all depends...The Twins new home look appealing for hitters and Morneau is good...I think it's a bit steep, but then again you have to consider Haren's struggles.
Morneau's average is a bit up and down for me. Great hitter, obviously, but he seems like an every other year kinda guy in that category. Pujols is consistent in all catetories. Haren's worth the price for Pujols.
Do it. Haren is notoriously bad in the second half and we're almost into June.
Morneau is hitting well -- I have him in my league, too -- but he's not Pujols. Is this a keeper league? If it is, there's no doubt you should make the trade.
As lssygy said, Haren is notoriously a first half pitcher. See if you can drag out the conversation for a few days to a week (especially if Haren has weaker opponents coming soon, I don't know his schedule), and then pull it off.
