I need to pick up a catcher to replace posada and I do not have room until I dropped someone. I have to drop one of the following players:
Livan Hernandez
Carlos Silva
Chacin
Holland
Beckham
Who should it be?

Personally, it could be playing with fire to keep SIlva or Livan. At some point they have to come back to earth. I would drop either one of them.
Help?

I agree that both of those SPs will come back to earth. Which one first tough to tell? One thing to note is that the Cubs said Zambrano will be back in the rotation soon so Silva could be one of the guys that loses the starting gig. Just saying.

Chacin has already come down to earth. Also, I read the Gorzellany (?) will be a likely candidate for the bullpen.

To Drop:
-Livan or
-Silva
Chacin, Holland and Beckham - all with upsides. They're young and the need to find their play, so one or two bad outing aren't something to worry about.
It would be nice to know what you did with our advice - so please write a short reply

thanks for the help on mine, just got home from work and see you already made your decision. Silva was a good drop.
