Will Snyder maintain at-bats when Montero returns?
Cervelli has the best average, but will the Yankees bring up someone from AAA to split duties???
NOTE: I will drop Laird, not Posada!

Doubtful.

I doubt it- if the Yanks bring anyone up, I suspect it'll be another OF, since they basically have no bench players there with Granderson on the DL, and Swisher and now Thames battling minor injuries. They also have no regular DH without Johnson.
I don't think there's a huge difference between any of the catchers you listed, but I'd be inclined to go with Cervelli.

They just brought up Moeller. Also,Cervelli has no arm, TB 6-6 last night in SBs. But, he is hitting the best of those.
they called up Moeller but he's not gonna be in the active lineup soon. Cervelli will give you nice .AVG and some good RBI-production. He is a worth addition for the 2-3 weeks missing Posada.
It would be nice to know what you did with our advice - so please write a short reply
I've picked up Cervelli myself recently, I'd get him. The BABIP is unsustainable, but the ZiPS rest of season projection has him hitting a healthy triple slash of .282/.337/.423 which I'd take from a catcher any day. Those projections might be a bit optimistic, but there is no reason (and no one else worth getting) that you shouldn't give Cervelli a shot.

Yeah, agree to that - he is not or will not be a very good Catcher in the long term but he is an useful replacement for Posada.

Well, as long as he stays there the whole year. I don't want to waste a precious waiver on him if he won't be around come September.
