I really do not think he is ever going to live up to the hype/potential. IMO we're looking at a guy whose CEILING is the season he had in 2008. If you pay for anything more than 15 HRs/20 SBs you will be sorely disappointed. I think that is approximately his ceiling and it is much more realistic to expect 15 SBs. His avg likely won't help you either, around .275-.280.

Agreed. Unfortunately, I owned the guy during the second half of '08, so bought into him last season. He never really got hot last season, but as you posted, he was much better in the second half, so I stupidly bought into him again this season - granted, in a much later round. Finally realized the reality (which you posted above) and dumped him for Theriot/Desmond and am currently platooning them.
