Bay for Pierre

I've been offered Jason bay for Juan pierre. i have a 15 steals lead. I do have Theriot, Anrus, Reyes , Utley and Wright for steals. My concern is that Bay has only 1 homerun . Will he turn it on when the weather warms up?
hes good for 10-12 steals himself. The other concern is. This GMs father also asked me to do a trade and included Pierre. I rejected his offer. I' m concerned if i did this trade he would trade Pierre to his Dad who needs steals and is 8 points behind me in third place.
I need some power.

Ouch- that's tough if you know he'll trade this guy to your direct opponent.

Though I would make that deal- J.Bay should improve after the all-star break. You have Andrus, Wright, Utley and Reyes as basestealers so no big concerns in this area.

I sent him a note with a nice read i found about Pierre and how hot he is so far in May. I told him I would trade him Pierre if he would trade me Vernon Wells. Doubt he will.

I would do it. I love Pierre this year but Bay is the better player and will come on soon enough. He is too good not to.

Did you read the part about him possibly trading Pierre to his dad? His dad had made me an offer that included Pierre. I rejected it.Both offers came the same day.

i'd do it...what if he doesnt trade to his dad? then you just got Jason Bay for a person who's a FA in many leagues
