Markakis & Zambrano trades (WHIR)

12 Team 5x5 redraft

Okay so I am offering two trades and wanted to get the cafe's thoughts on them.

1. Markakis and Zambrano for Oswalt
2. Markakis and Zambrano for Kershaw

DO either of these make sense for me. I just picked up Zambrano off the wires last night and was going to keep him but now and thinking about shopping him. I need to move an OF because I have granderson on the bench and Beltran on the DL so I will have a surplus of OF hopefully within the next month or so.

I like Kershaw by a lot over Oswalt, so that would be the better bet and like you said you need to move an OF.

Not so sure he would take that trade though... I don't think anyone sees Zambrano as much more than dirt at the moment with the Cubs struggles and no indication that he will get promoted back to starting. But if he for some reason values Zambrano, then yeah I'd make the deal.

I think both make sense for you actually. If he will take Zambrano then do it for either pitcher as either would help your team. I would go for Kershaw first though.
