I'm not finding anymore information than from cbssports.com. Does anone have more news about this move?
Zambrano going back to rotation Updated 5/18/2010
Carlos Zambrano, SP CHC
News: The Cubs are reversing the move that put Carlos Zambrano in the bullpen. Cubs manager Lou Piniella says Zambrano will return to the starting rotation. Zambrano's shift to the bullpen earlier this season didn't help the team's eighth-inning relief woes or improve his own performance. He had a 6.23 ERA in eight relief appearances. Piniella said before Tuesday night's game he would like Zambrano to pitch two or three times in long relief before making the move. "I'm happy, man," he said about becoming a starter again. "As long as the team's happy, I'm happy. Whatever this team wants me to do, I do."
Analysis: It is good to see the Cubs making the move to put Zambrano back in the rotation. Zambrano will be stretched out in long relief in the coming days and might be an option to make a start in Fantasy Week 7 (May 17-23). Pick him up immediately in the 37 percent of CBSSports.com leagues he is available. Track his progress through the weekend before considering him in your active lineup for Week 8 (May 24-30).

It's not gonna happen in the next few days and there is no definite timetable. All that was said that it's going to happen, and he's going to have a few outings in long relief to get stretched out. It could be as long as two weeks or so before he actually does start a game.

Rocinante2: you know

Its going to happen. Moving big z to the bullpen was a horrific move. He will be in long relief over the next few outings to get stretched out and even said he would be willing to take a minor league assignment to get stretched out but I doubt they will do that.
He was pitching a lot better as a starter (his first game at ATL was just awful). He would be a guy to take a flier on if he was dropped or try to buy real low on if you are in need of pitching help. His BB rate is scary but solid Ks and ERA and my undying hope that the cubs as a team will turn it around to provide some Ws as well.

One inning (the 9th up by four) in his last appearance. Now a one-batter in this one. Did he throw "on the side" during the 9th tonight? What's happening here, did anyone watch the game to see?
