Iam trying to deal alex gonzalez for a third baseman. i have beckham but he has been bad. one team iam lookin at has 3 3rd basemen and reyes as their ss... he aint doin so good so maybe thye will want Al gonz.
the 3 are mcgehee, callaspo, and beltre. how would u rank those 3rd basemen and who is realistic to trade alex gonz for
also i might be able to deal him for aramis ramirez what do u think about that cause i know he has been horrid so far

I would go with McGhee and Beltre as the only 2 options on that team, how AGON2 has been on fire all year on a Toronto that has been raking the ball up and down the lineup. 11 Runs today so far with 4 HR's.
Who do you have to keep at SS?

I think Alex Gonzalez is a typicall high-buy candidate and I would be carefully to trade for him with big value.
Beckham should be on your bench in a keeper league/ if you're in a shallow league, you can drop him if you need the space.
I think Callaspo has a nice run and could be packed with someone else (though not ARamz or Beltre) maybe McGahee+Callaspo.
It would be nice to know what you did with our advice - so please write a short reply

I think that you are winning if you get McGehee for Gonzalez. Gonzalez has a career average of under .250 and an OBP of under.300. OK, he hits a few HR, but he can't hold down a starting job some years. McGehee is a .300 hitter, and will still be useful even if he can't keep up the pace. I might actually like Beltre best of all though.
Help with mine?
