Adrian Gonzalez...trade

Postby ECG77 » Tue May 18, 2010 12:20 pm

I was offered two trades for A-Gon. But I think each trade may not be enough. Should A-Gon be higher in trade value?

I would do neither. Jones and Cain is closer but I have always (and still do) find Cain overrated. With trade 2, if it was adam laroche you'd be getting closer. Andy hit hot for a couple weeks but is nothing more than a servicable stopgap. If you do either trade, drop the pitcher on your side and use him for further trade bait- as for a lower end starting OF. I'm in a 12 team NL only and outside of the big producers (which gonzalez is), it's the pitching that stays valuable.
