I read mlb.com's Rotoman talking about Santana's diminishing value due to continuing discomfort in his scoped elbow. It's true he had surgery - for some reason it never occurred to me on draft day. Anyone else worried?

Everything I've read (Rotowitre yesterday etc...) says he isn't having any physical problems. I have him and won't move him.

I've read that he is struggling with his change up, but that there are no lingering physical problems. He'll be fine.

This from CBS yesterday
Johan Santana, RP MIN
News: Santana, coming off offseason elbow surgery, allowed four runs in the first inning of his Monday start, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He threw another 15 changeups in the bullpen after leaving the game to attempt to calibrate himself for the season. "I think it takes a little time," Santana said. "I'm feeling good. My arm feels good. My legs feel good. I'm trying to do some mechanical things. Maybe I'm thinking too much so I just have to let it go."

Doesn't sound like much. If I reacted every time I heard some pitcher get bombed in spring training or developed an ache or pain, I would have no one on my roster.

I believe he had some work done on his elbow during the off season and they said he had some discomfort (due to scar tissue breaking up) early in spring training.
