Util Slot??

I currently have Matsui slotted there. Would you rather have him or Big Papi at util, who is sitting in fa. i keep going back to Papi and he keeps going 0 fer, i drop, and he has a good night. Or i could try to use my Waiver on Kubel but it's only #9 so i doubt it flies. thanks.

This must be a pretty deep league. I would rather have Matsui because Ortiz sometimes sits against lefties, whereas I think Matsui is playing almost everyday. But right now its really the lesser of two evils.....is there anyone else on the WW or FA?

yeah, it's a 12 team 25 man roster league so it's fairly deep. Austin Kearns is still available, no one seems to believe he is for real. Ike Davis got cut and will clear waivers on Wed. i was surprised to see him cut. Hank Blalock has yet to be snagged after his call-up. I guess there is some talent out there but we count K vs. the batter so anyone with a high k rate has to be worth it. thanks for the input.

I would rather have Ike Davis than Matsui or Ortiz. Go with him.

Ortiz is definitely starting to heat up but I would be hesitant to add him until he gets consistent starts against lefties better than D. Willis. I doubt he plays tomorrow against C.C. but it's worth keeping an eye on.
