Luke Scott Loves May

Postby jake_twothousandfive » Mon May 17, 2010 7:51 pm

So far in May he's 13-for-39 (.333) with 5 HRs and 10 RBIs. Last year he went 19-for-42 (.432) with 8 HRs and 18 RBIs in the month of May. He has a career .298 BA in the month of May with 20 HRs and 54 RBIs (against a .263 lifetime BA).

He's a guy who seems to get really hot for a few weeks every year then disappears completely. If you need a short term boost, it looks like he could give you one.

Two bombs off Greinke today. Seems like he can hit any fastball right now.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!
