C - J.Mauer
1B - P.Fielder
2B - I.Kinsler
3B - A.Rodriguez
SS - D.Jeter
LF - A.Soriano
CF - T.Hunter
RF - R.Ludwick
UT - J.Loney
UT - J.Bautista
BN - J.Buck
BN - J.Guillen
BN - N.Morgan

SP - A.Burnett
SP - A.Pettitte
RP - J.Valverde
RP - L.Nunez
P - M.Thornton
P - S.Downs
P - N.Masset
P - J.Niemann
BN - S.Marcum
BN - D.Braden

I'm really liking what I'm seeing from Buck so far, so was shopping Mauer and his lack of power. Found an offer of M.Garza/S.Podsednik/A.Simon for J.Mauer/D.Braden/N.Masset and it looks pretty enticing. What do you all think, is Mauer expendable? I think Garza could really help my team but I'd have an all-AL East pitching staff, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I need Pods' steals also, but have depth at LF/CF already. Thanks for all your help!

Given Mauer's pedigree and Braden's recent success, I think you could get more ... at least a better bat than Pods or a better closer than Simon. Upgrade one of those areas in the deal and I think I'd say go for it.

help me?

I wouldn't even bother looking at this trade. reject right away please....

pods/simon are waiver wire guys....garza is a good start but need WAAAY more for a mauer + braden...
mauer is a 1st/2nd rounder guy and braden is a solid late round SP... all that for basically garza and 2 crappy waiver wire pickups?? hell no
