I would do the deal for sure. You need a catcher so Soto will be an immediate help there. I think Reyes and Andrus are about equal, but Reyes has more upside IMO because of past success. As you said you could use another closer, so Jenks will help. And because it isn't a keeper league Strassberg is not all that valuable IMO. Oh and Javy Vasquez is awful and I don't see him getting any better.

is soto any better than suzuki, olivo , or buck?

will jenks keep the job?

counter with soriano instead of jenks?

Yes I think Soto is better than all three for the season.

Yes I think he keeps the job, BUT I would say if you can get Soriano then do that, but if not i still do the trade

Yeah, Soto is definitely the best of that bunch. He was extraordinarily unlucky last year, which isn't the case anymore. At the same time, the new Cubs hitting coach has had a great effect on Soto. I watch the games, and I remember Doug Glanville or somebody like that saying about how hitters such as Soto were specialties of Rudy Jaramillo. Soto is good, and he's in a good lineup that should be producing at an even higher clip.

I somewhat like Andrus over Reyes, but Reyes has the potential to be amazing once again. Since you need a C and this is not a keeperleague, I think it's a good deal for you.

help me out?
