I have had him since his call up in my 5x5 16 Team 7 player Keeper league and have much man-love for him, but I really need pitching and have been made an offer. I am hesitant to do this but would appreciate your thoughts. I am 2nd in wins but that # is deceptive because I have Clippard who has contributed 7 of those wins. I am middle to bottom in ERA WHIP.
My Braun
for
Kinsler/Carpenter
This is a 5x5 7 man keeper my outfielders are - Braun/Crawford/Hamilton/Ludwick/Ross/G. Jones/Stanton
2b - Beckham/Castillo/Schumaker
Sp - Hanson/Hamels/Hudson/Matusz/J. Chacin
My keepers would be - Kinsler/Rollins/Crawford/Hamilton/Hanson/Carpenter/Many options for the last
Thanks for the help with mine. I wish I could give you better help with yours, but I am torn here.
Kinsler will help your 2B alot, since I don't like any of your options including Beckham; and Carpenter is definitely a front of the rotation ace.
However, Braun is an absolute man-beast and seeing that this is a keeper, his value is immense. Throw in Kinsler's injury concerns (and I guess Carpenter's as well since this is a keeper) and I hesitate.
I think I would hold off, but if you took the deal, I don't think I would criticize it at all.
I agree with above post. Both are injury risks. Even though Carpenter looks like that is behind him now. But Braun is a top 3 fantasy player, with hall of fame possibility. If I was going to trade him it would have to be for at least one player with less risk. But at the end of the day if you pull the trigger I couldn't say you made the wrong call either. Tough spot.

Tough call, but I'd do the trade. Kinsler is top shelf at 2B, and Carpenter is very good also. The fact you have Stanton helps offset the OF spot loss for the future, hopefully.
