Pick up Glaus in 12-team H2H? WHIR

Postby saemick » Mon May 17, 2010 10:40 am

In a 12-team H2H NON-Keeper league. Should I pick up Glaus to play my IF or UTL slot while he's hot? If so, who should I drop for him (MR like Joba have value for HOLDS, so I can't drop him, FYI)? here's my current roster:

12-team 6x6 H2H Yahoo! NON-KEEPER league (includes HOLDS)
c: Doumit
1b: Miguel Cabrera
2b: Cano
ss: Stephen Drew
3b: David Wright
IF: Kelly Johnson
OF: Heyward, Carlos Gonzalez, BJ upton
Utl: Freese
BN: Ian Desmond, Grady Sizemore
SP: Hamels, Nolasco, James Shields, J. Sanchez, Buchholz, Slowey, Holland
RP: Bell, Wilson, Neftali Feliz, Rodney, Joba
DL: Granderson, Mike Gonzalez
Stat categories: Hitters: R, HR, RBI, SB, BA, OPS Pitchers: W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP, HOLDS

Leave a link and I'll reply to ALL posts.

thanks in advance

Honestly, I'm in exactly the same boat. 12 team H2H league, wondering if I should add the hot Glaus. I have no backup at 3B for McGehee, who has been super. But Glaus looks like he's back. Sorry, that probably didn't help you out. Just saying.

Thanks for help with mine.

A hot Glaus would be a welcome addition to any club, but I don't see who you can drop for him.

He'll outhit Kelly Johnson, that might not be a bad move.

I'd probably just stand pat though...
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!

The only person I could really see dropping would be Freese or possibly one of my pitchers in Slowey or Rodney...but I hate having too many hitters on my bench.

I would drop Ian Desmond, as stated this is a non-keeper league. Go with the hot arms/bats!
