With those skills he should have been performing well to begin with. Then when he changed his approach and went up to another level in ability it would be believable. Not jumping 5 levels because of a change in approach.

I'm not doubting his incredible hand-eye coordination, quick bat, and incredible timing but any good player with potential is touted to have those or they wouldn't be considered to have good potential, but again, you don't see all of them changing so drastically.

Not if you have a bad hitch in your swing that prevents you from making consistent contact on pitches in the zone.

remember before the season began someone said he can actually improve on the #s because it wasn't all that lucky last year? and the guy who wrote that article or projection came here to explain it? can't seem to find it...

People forget that Bautista was also dealing with a hernia for most of last season. Being healthy may also be a factor in this performance.
