Solid 3B play for the rest of the way or dud?
Thoughts?

Guy is a career .237 batter, has half of his career high in HR totals already and has 1HR in his last 31ABs (right on his career average of 1HR every 30AB).
Go back to just last year when he went on a hot streak to end up with 13HR. He had 8HR in his last 78 to end the year, prior to that had 5HR in 258AB to start the year.
What do you think? I think its just a nice hot streak, and along with Alex Gonzalez both will slide back down to normal sooner rather then later.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...

I have been curiously watching Bautista for some time now, and could add him. But I'm not convinced he's really worth it. That batting avg isn't pretty. Still, the HR parade is dandy. Two more vs. TEX on Sat afternoon.

The avg will always be bad but he has 20-25 hr power if given full time AB's, which he should get all year. Decent play in al-only leagues.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Lewis has definitely earned his spot. I don't think there's any guarantee EE gets 3B back when he's healthy. Bautista is batting well. The avg isn't there, but there's a chance he surprises and becomes a nice option this fantasy season. I guess I don't put as much stock in EE as some do. What has he ever really done to warrant immediately getting quality playing time coming off this injury?
