Do I dare give up Braun for this? I could have a nucleus of Hanley, Braun, M-Cab, and J-Up for years to come, but does this trade make me better for this season?
I think it is tempting but I don't have enough faith in CarGo or Uggla to give you the advice to take this deal. I do think it might help your team this year but overall I wouldn't do it. I think you need to get at least another first rounder or a couple second rounders for Braun.
Nah, Brauns a first rounder and will be for years, hernandez is solid but not worth it, and uggla's untrustworthy and streaky. its not worth the risk. Hold Braun and smile as you rake. See what you think: viewtopic.php?t=411912
C: Posey 1B: Votto 2B Zobrist 3B: Miggy Cabrera SS: Tulo OF Chris Davis, Martin Prado, Alex Rios U: Konerko/Hunter SP: Lester, Peavy, Dempster, Kuroda, Matt Moore (Reserve: Beckett, Cahill, Lincecum, Hudson) RP: Putz, R Soriano
I will echo the others. I am not a big Uggle fan, but this deal is close. CarGo is a stud and definitely living up to his potential. And Felix will make a nice 1-2 with Ubaldo.
Is there something else he is willing to substitute for Uggla.

The only other options on his team are Phil Hughes, Miguel Montero, and Heath Bell. Billy Butler is also there but I don't think he'd include him.
Thanks for all the help so far and I'll respond to everybody's posts today.
